Wildcat Walk & Fitness Frenzy

Dear Valued Community Partners,

Windsor Elementary PTO has hosted the Wildcat Walk and Fitness Frenzy Fundraiser since 2013 to promote school spirit and to support events for our school family throughout the year. 

This fundraising event encourages a healthy lifestyle by bringing the entire school outside for an hour of walking, jogging, dancing, and playing outdoor games. Because we don’t partner with an outside vendor, 100% of the money raised will stay at Windsor! We use the proceeds to host community events, purchase new fitness equipment, educational online programs, books, and more for our school! 

Each year business donations directly support over 500 Windsor Wildcats by ensuring that every student gets a special custom t-shirt to wear the day of the walk. Funds raised beyond this need will be used to support other Wildcat Walk and Fitness Frenzy activities and other PTO sponsored events throughout the year. 

Timeline:

October 10th, 2024  – Windsor Wildcat and Fitness Frenzy

We’ve made participating quick and painless:

1. Determine how you would like to participate:
   • SILVER LEVEL – This is our level for businesses making a $250 – $499 donation. Businesses at this level will have their business name listed alphabetically on Windsor PTO website and included on Windsor PTO social media. They will also have their name printed on the banner that hangs outside of the school year-round. 
   • GOLD LEVEL – This is our level for business making a $500+ donation. Businesses at this level will receive all of the benefits associated with the Silver Level PLUS one (1) quarter page ad included in the PTO Newsletter. 
2. Complete the Business Donation Form (linked here).
3. Drop the form and check in the mail.

FAQs:

Are students asking for donations for a pledge? Nope, they are simply asking for donations to support their school. All of the donations raised go directly to the Windsor Elementary PTO to support school events and family activities throughout the year. 

What will my student do during the event? This is a whole school activity with every student spending a full hour outside participating in fitness activities. Students from EWU help manage stations, giving Windsor Wildcats the opportunity to play games and have fun while promoting school spirit. 

Can parents or family attend the event? Absolutely! Please come to the field behind the school about 20 minutes before the event to register as a visitor. You are welcome to spend the hour with your student enjoying the activities available. 

I know a business owner who wants to be a sponsor, who do I contact? Fantastic! Please share the link and information found in the above drop down. 

Are there other fundraisers? NO! This is the only fundraiser hosted by Windsor Elementary PTO that supports all school activities throughout the year. Though there will be other opportunities to support specific activities.
